Vintage BEE SMOKER by A.I. Root Co., OH, C.1900

Description

ant6034.  Early smoker, marked on back of bellows as A.I. Root Co., Medina, Ohio, Beekeepers Supplies. Root's company was established in 1869 and he wrote the familiar "ABC's of Beekeeping" book.
Leather of bellows is flaky and still produces some air compression, but not strongly........good for antique display.   Grate inside fire tin is still present & intact. Very Good- condition.
