    Description
    The Matala MEA PRO 6 Plus Air Pump Kit is made for ponds up to a maximum of 45,000 gallons with no more than a 10' depth. It is made to help the environment were your fish live, helps to prevent algae growth and during the winter it can be used as a deicer to leave an opening in the ice. Move the diffuser to a shallower spot in the pond to prevent it from becoming self cooled in the winter months. Hakko pumps are compact, affordable, and energy-efficient. For outdoor applications, it is recommended that the unit be enclosed to protect it from the elements, but must have an opening on both sides so the air pump can keep cool and breathe. This is an external air pump and is not to be submerged.
