    Description

    Lovely handcarved sgraffito Breininger Pottery Redware large hand rolled draped octagonal dish/ shallow bowl (with hand carved Sgraffito stylized tulip flowers in a pot, and scalloped patterned edge design)
    10 1/2 +” slab built octagonal plate/ Dish with black carved slip/glaze.
    Made at the studio in Robesonia, PA
    Inscribed on the unglazed bottom in Capital lettering:
    “Breininger Pottery”
    “Robesonia, PA”
    “April 1st, 2002”
    Weather statement: “Hurricane”
    Probably made by W. Mickey (?) - handwriting is very similar to another signed piece I had.
