5.5" tall Antique American Belleek CAC Hand Painted Art Nouveau Mug
Peach porcelain hand decorated with gilt stylistic trees in Art Nouveau fashion, outlined in burnt umber.
Mark on bottom indicates this was created between 1889-1896 and definitely before 1906 when Lenox was added to logo.
No chips or cracks. Antique item has very little wear to gilding due to use.
The shape is very graceful. I was not able to find any other examples of a mug or vase in this shape or any item with this motif. As you can see from the first photo, the morning light shows how lovely the porcelain is.
As found in an estate. I have not washed this item. I have only wiped it carefully to keep it dusted for photographing.
