Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece:
This is a nice early Yoder plate with a great design that seldom comes by. The plate has a very interesting shape with scalloped edges. The coloring of the plate is rather beautiful and interesting well-done design. A nice plate made by a renowned potter and winner of many awards with a beautiful Pennsylvania Dutch design. This plate deserves a prominent spot in any redware collection.

Plate is in very good condition with no cracks, hairlines or repairs. The plate has general crazing to the glaze which is hard to see because of the coloring, but there are no losses to the glaze.
